Multimedia for Education:Basic approach












The face of the earth is facing the different types of natural calamities. Aside from it, there are mixed events of political conflicts and economic turmoil. Amidst of these bad things that happened sorround us we can still manage to focus our immortal strength to other things and as they say "life must move on". This is  where the  human are designed for. We are perfectly built by the king of the universe with perception and the notion of "being of being" in this planet, to combat all the unexpected negative elements of natural law. We can decide to hoist our feet againts the burning furnaze and shout for help whenever we want. These particular are all parts of auxilliary communication using the Multimedia system.

Multimedia is the process of delivering kaleidoscopic mediums using the images, sound and videos. In short the tri-media system is suited for the multimedia applications, where informercials, advertisements, animations, webisodes, titles, business presentations, e-learning and research are part of the projects. Who are the people involve in Multimedia? These people has their own special skills to erect the multimedia projects. The software developers are part of the Multimedia projects, they create programs for graphics events and communicate with the project managers and animators to plan out the strategy and time line of the products.

In school, the Multimedia system is now starting to grow as part of the four corners of class room instruction. One of the advantage of having the Multimedia in the class room is to entice the students or pupils to listen in the classroom instruction. At the same time this would create a vigor place for interaction. The costs is bit expensive for the Multimedia application in the academes but this is a good investment for the young minds.

There are schools that include Multimedia in their curriculum, the reason is to escalate the level of knowledge of the students(I hope so). But one of the problem is the direction of the teaching instruction. First, to apply the multimedia as an elective or a major subject the school manpower that focus to Computer Science and Information Technology should have an extensive knowledge in animation, informercials, e-learning, social marketing, business management, software trends and development and a grasp of web designs and scripting prowess.

The Multimedia as a subject is no joke, there are chapters that need to be handled with care, like the digital arts impressions. How would you deliver the digital art impressions if you don't know what is digital art. It might be that your cup of tea is to operate the Photoshop and delivered your skills and ability in the digital canvass. How about the capacity to bring the ideas at the back of the students and pupils? these are the huge questions that will deplete the multimedia subject as part of the education system.

Always remember that multimedia has different elements and applications. One of the application, the most primitive application is the "presentation authoring tools" like the power point. But this could not suffice the knowledge of the subject. It is crucial to master the different faces of Multimedia. For instance, how would you create a challenge of exercises to the students on scripting or lingo of the Macro Director or VBA script of powerpoint? the lingo is needed to put all the object in the windows or in the stage to provide interactivity.

This planet is adapting Multimedia, everyday is a multimedia activity. Just like what your are doing now..reading this blog.
